Hard & Deep: A Football Romance by Krista Lakes

Hard & Deep: A Football Romance by [Lakes, Krista]

5.0 out of 5 stars Quarterback falls for physical therapist

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Oliver is a typical playboy jock who works hard and plays even harder. Elsie is a sports medicine physical therapist who is trying to salvage her uncle’s practice after her aunt gets sick. When Oliver has a car accident, his manager Nikki hires Elsie to work on his injury and get him playing football again. Elsie tries to keep their relationship professional, but Oliver makes it really hard. When Nikki notices them getting too close, she tries to sabotage their relationship. Will she succeed or will distance keep them apart?
I really liked how we got to see a different side of both Oliver and Elsie as the story moved along. I hated how childish and conniving Nikki was, but it didn’t ruin the story at all. This was a great example of love conquering all obstacles. I couldn’t stop reading until I got to the end.
